Introduction
The System page offers quick access to the configuration settings for your instance. System settings are global to all the installed applications or contains features and utilities that are specific to your instance. Configure everything from setting up your Organizational structure including the users, departments, and teams that will be using Hornbill and their rights to what they can access down to setting up mailboxes, webhook integration, and the finite system settings.
Organisational Data
Here you will find everything to do with getting your users into Hornbill and giving them access to the different aspects of Hornbill. Your organizational structure can be defined by its different levels of logical groups as well as defining the physical sites.
Security
The Single Sign On Profiles let you define integration with an identification provider such as Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS). With Single Sign On configured, authentication into Hornbill will be securely managed by your preferred authentication service.
Manage Portals
The Portals provide an access point for both Hornbill Users and non-Hornbill users to access aspects of the different applications that provide a public interface. The Portals can provide a custom and unique experience for the users with the ability to change the look and feel to meet your needs.
Working Time Calendars
The Working Time Calendars provide the different operational hours that can be used by some of the Hornbill Apps. Set your weekly opening hours as well as add exclusion days such as holidays. For global organization, set each Calendar with the timezone where this SLC operates.
Settings
Settings allow you to fine turn your instance to just the way you want it. The Advanced settings give you options to set everything from maximum file size uploads to setting password policies. The Webhooks offer a powerful integration point to push information from Hornbill to other external apps.
The Hornbill email integration provides the ability to integrate with your existing email servers and create routing rules to distribute the emails to shared mailboxes and automatically process emails to apps.
Data
Use these options to work with the back end data that is stored to support your apps. Manage Profile Trees that are used in your different apps or get to the root of the data with the Database Direct tool.

Language
Hornbill supports the ability to translate all aspects of the user interface to any language as well as allowing you to select which languages you want to make available to your users.
Monitor
The Log Files provides an insight into all the transactions that are being processed on your instance including the display of any errors or issues that are occurring. The Sessions option lets you see who currently has a connection with your instance.
App Store
The Hornbill App Store is a place where one can go to browse, install, and remove applications on your Hornbill Instance. The applications are categorized under the topic of Staff Management, Sales Management, Customer Management, Service Management, Project Management, and Financial Management. Also available is your Subscription report to keep you up to date on the number of registered users and the available space for your instance.

A detailed history of updates to your Hornbill Instance can be viewed from here. Click on the Show More button on any of the releases to show a detailed history of all the new features, changes to existing features, and any fixes that have been applied to your Hornbill Instance.
