Authentication
In order to integrate with iTrent, you will first need to configure, and securely store the authentication credentials for the iTrent account you want to use with the Hornbill App.
Storing Credentials
Configure your iTrent account authentication in KeySafe in order to use the iTrent integration.
In the admin console > System > Security > KeySafe
- In Administration, navigate to System > Security > KeySafe;
- Click on + and select iTrent
- Give the API Key a title (this is the name/identifier for the iTrent account as you will see it when using the Integration Call node in your business process)
- Optionally add a description
- The Username field should be populated with the username of the iTrent web services account you wish to use
- The Password field should be populated with the password for the above iTrent web services account
- Click Create Key to save
Revoking Access
If at any point you wish to revoke the Hornbill platform's access to iTrent, just delete the iTrent Keysafe key.
NOTE: This will revoke the rights of any existing iTrent Integration Calls in your Business Processes/Custom Buttons/Auto Tasks/Runbooks that are using the revoked iTrent account, so you will need to edit these accordingly.
Cloud Automation Operations
Once you have your iTrent account authorised, you're all set to use it with the Integration Call in your business processes. The following options are now available for you to use with iTrent:
- Data Conversion - makes a call to the Run New Conversion iTrent web services API
