A Workspace is a place where you can connect a group of co-workers together to collaborate around a common topic. (More on what workspaces are for.) Workspaces are made up of posts in an activity stream. You can set up a workspace about any relevant theme you need to share with others in your organisation.

Once you have created a workspace, you have become its owner and you can then manage it. This includes the ability to add or remove members, decide whether it’s open (public) or closed (private), and delete it.

Workspaces can also be:-

  • Either public or private (what's the difference?)
  • Translated into a variety of languages if needed
  • Places to share photos, videos, documents or links
  • Somewhere to get answers to questions when you choose ‘Ask a Question’ rather than post. Other Co-workers can post answers and vote on the best one. You can choose the best answer for you and these answers are then available to help others in the future

When you are a member of a workspace, updates can be seen in your News Feed and you will receive notifications when these happen
