A Workspace is a place where you can connect a group of co-workers together to collaborate around a common topic. (More on what workspaces are for.)

  • Anyone can create a workspace. You can set up a workspace with a specific theme and you can either upload co-workers to join or they can find and join in themselves to become members who can see and contribute to it.
  • Workspaces can be either public or private (what's the difference?)
  • You are the owner for any workspace you create, which means you can add and remove members, and delete the workspace
  • The core collaboration part of a workspace is an activity stream. This enables you to collaborate on the topics covered by the workspace using posts and comments
  • This also means that if you are a member of a workspace, updates can be seen in your News Feed and you will receive notifications when these happen
