Request Details Form Designer

In Hornbill it’s possible for you to modify data entry forms using a forms designer. As an Administrator , its possible to:-

  1. Add new fields with data validation
  2. Modify fields
  3. Hide fields
  4. Move fields
  5. Remove fields – A custom field can removed using the remove option. Standard fields can’t be removed but can be hidden

Forms which can modified:

  • Request Details - It is possible to modify the fields which are used per request type (Incident, Service Request, Change, Problem, Known Error) per Service. This provides you with the ability to specify different fields which can be used / visible / mandatory for the different services you offer. More information on customising the specific forms for each request type per Service can be found here: Services
  • Profile Details - It is possible to modify the fields which are used for each co-workers profile sections including Basic details, Job Details, Contact Details, Interests & Expertise, Personal Details.
  • Organisation Details - Where you are Supporting external organisations it is possible to modify the Basic Info, Address, and Extra details sections of the Organisation Details forms.
