Platform Configuration gives you access to all the configuration settings for your Hornbill instance. Configure everything from setting up your organizational structure including the users, departments, and teams that will be using Hornbill and their rights to what they can access down to setting up mailboxes, webhook integration, and the finite system settings.
The System page offers quick access to the configuration settings for your instance. System settings are global to all the installed applications or contains features and utilities that are specific to your instance. The Single Sign On Profiles let you define integration with an identification provider such as Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS). With Single Sign On configured, authentication into Hornbill will be securely managed by your preferred authentication service.

The Hornbill App Store is a place where one can go to browse, install, and remove applications on your Hornbill Instance. The applications are categorized under the topic of Staff Management, Sales Management, Customer Management, Service Management, Project Management, and Financial Management. Also available is your Subscription report to keep you up to date on the number of user have an the available space for your instance.

Introduction

Platform Configuration gives you access to all the configuration settings for your Hornbill instance. Configure everything from setting up your organizational structure including the users, departments, and teams that will be using Hornbill and their rights to what they can access down to setting up mailboxes, webhook integration, and the finite system settings.

Organisational Data

Users

Hornbill user accounts are used for people that are internal to your organization who wish to interact within Hornbill, either by using one of the applications or to request service via the Employee Portal (self-service).
