Activity streams are the core collaboration component that appears in many places throughout Hornbill. Wherever you can see collaboration taking place, there is an activity stream at the heart of it.

All activity streams have the following features:

  • Posts - text, image or video. Posts can be visible to all, or just to members/followers
  • Ask a question - You can request answers to a question. Other Co-workers can post comments which can then be voted on. If you post the question you can the choose the best answer and it will be marked as the Poster's choice.
  • Comments - contribute to the discussion initiated by a post
  • Liking - show your approval of a post or comment, and see who else liked it (you can also un-like)

You can also dynamically translate posts and comments.

If you follow, or are a member of, something that has an activity stream, you will:-
