Introduction
The manual list allows for a list of device names and addresses to be used by the discovery process. Entries can be in the form of any of the following and each entry is separated by spaces:
- computer01.acme.co.uk
- computer01
- Single IP x.x.x.x
- example: 192.168.1.1
- IP range x.x.x.x-x
- example: 192.168.0.1-254 provides a list 254 addresses (192.168.0.1 -> 192.168.0.254)
- x.x.x.x-x.x
- example: 192.168.0.1-255.254 provides a list 65534 addresses (192.168.0.1 -> 192.168.255.254)
- x.x.x.x/x
- example: 192.168.0.0/24 provides a list 254 addresses (192.168.0.1 -> 192.168.0.254)
