In Service Manager an asset can be added to the asset register in a number of ways:-

  1. As a Configuration manager, you can add assets using the Configuration management icon on the navigation bar and then Asset management. Use the ‘Add new asset’ icon, complete the asset details and select the ‘add asset’ button.
  2. As a Configuration manager, you can add assets using the Configuration management icon on the navigation bar and then administration. Select ‘Add new asset’ option for the asset type you require. Complete the details and then ‘Add asset’
  3. As a Co-worker with Service manager who has access to Self Service, launch Self Service from the Self Service icon (Self Service on the navigation bar). Then select ‘My Assets’ and ‘Register my own device’, complete details and then save.
