The Hornbill Switch-On service is a set of activities conducted in order for you to be able to evaluate Hornbill Service Manager with your data in place. Once initiated the delivery of the Switch-On activities would mean: A single essential discapline such as Incident management or an equivilent, is configured The BPM and the Progressive Capture are configured to allow the right data to be captured and the process to be initiated Your email is configured so that mail flows from and to Hornbill Your people data is imported, that's analysts and users Your Asset data is imported from either a database (asset discovery tool) or a file Single Sign-On is enabled Your customer portal is delivered with your corporate brand in place where applicable The format of the Switch-On service includes a significant focus on Knowledge Transfer as well as an introduction to Self-Sufficiency through collaborative participation. Our products are intuitive and require very little effort to gain a significant amount of knowledge. We believe that, for many, the Switch-On is more than enough to get them to a point where they are able to deliver the remaining configurations themselves. We also appreciate that time constraints can sometimes prevent a smooth and successful delivery without additional assistance and so beyond the Switch-On we can deliver additional Expert services to get you where you need to be.
