The Hornbill Switch-On is a set of activities conducted in order for you to be able to evaluate Hornbill Service Manager with essential data in place. Once initiated the delivery of the Switch-On activities would include: A single essential discipline such as Incident management or an equivalent, is configured The BPM and the Progressive Capture are configured to allow the right information to be captured and the process to be initiated Your email is configured so that mail flows to and from Hornbill Your people data is imported, that's analysts and users Your Asset data is imported from either a database (asset discovery tool) or a file Single Sign-On is enabled Set up of the self service portal with your corporate brand in place where applicable The format of the Switch-On activities includes a significant focus on Knowledge Transfer in order to build self-sufficiency through collaborative participation. Our products are intuitive and require very little effort to gain a significant amount of knowledge. We believe that, for many, the Switch-On is more than enough to get them to a point where they are able to deliver the remaining configurations themselves. However, we also appreciate that time and resource constraints may prevent you continuing the configuration independently.
